South Bend’s O’Brien Skate Park at 321 E. Walter Street offers a place where skaters are welcome to practice their tricks on half pipes, quarter pipes, bowls, steps and rails. It cost around $400,000 to build in 2002, but you can skate there for just $3 or rent it from the Parks Department starting at $50/hour.

The park is open daily March – November. Call 574-299-4789 for more details, park rules and information about upcoming competitions.
