The South Bend River Walk, a project of Michiana Watershed Inc., and the East Bank Trail, a “rails to trails” path, connect behind the Madison Center. Together they allow you a pleasant walk, run or ride from Twyckenham Drive at the river to St. Joseph High School. It’s about three miles, and along the way, you’ll pass a small park with fitness equipment, the East Race, and several restaurants where you can stop for refreshments.
