Oak Hill Condo<\/a> unit 1532<\/a> recently sold for $180,000. That makes it the condo with the highest sales price in the Oak Hill complex (based on the data available in the Greater South Bend-Mishawaka MLS<\/a>).<\/p>\n

The 1 bedroom + loft, 2 bath condo was well decorated, but lacked space at 1,080 square feet, and appealing views, overlooking a chain link fence and parking lot. Its biggest draw was its proximity to Notre Dame. Though there are more condos coming at Stadium Club<\/a>, North Douglas and the upcoming Eddy Street Commons, Oak Hill is currently the place to buy if you want a condo very close to Notre Dame.<\/p>\n

1532 Oak Hill last sold through the MLS for $88,500 in 2001. This price increase likely reflects the incredible run housing has had the last few years, the intelligent upgrades the owner made, and what I’ve come to think of as the “near Notre Dame 20% premium” – the price increase any property just South of the university has over similar homes somewhere else.<\/p>\n

There is currently one unit for sale in Oak Hill<\/a>. It offers the same 1,080 square foot, 1 bedroom + loft, 2 bath floorplan as unit 1532, with strikingly similar decor. It is listed for $189,900.
