The food was absolutely great. It is very evident that this family cares deeply about the reputation of their establishment as reflected in the service. We had never been at this restaurant before tonight. We do not try new places because we are often disappointed. We both were very pleased and plan on frequently visiting! Cindy Owens

First you spelled Giannetto’s wrong. Second, I have lived in chicago for about 15 years now, and I don’t waste a dime on Chicago pizza. When I come back to the Michiana area every couple of months, I come straight to Giannetto’s. By FAR the best in the whole area. Rathskellar was a pit! And no longer in business I hear because they were a pit! You can’t put those two restaurants in the same category.

Ummm i guess rathskellar can’t be that good, they are out of business once again! And giannetto’s has STUFFED pizza, not deep dish. All in all, Giannetto’s beats anybody in this town.

What a disappointment. I attended a political fundraiser @ Rathskellar last fall, and couldn’t wait to get home to tell my husband about their incredible Chicago style deep dish pizza! We went there a few weeks later, only to find the place dark and closed. I called the number above today to check on their hours, and the number is disconnected, with no further information. Darn, Marv Moore makes the best deep dish pie in town, and he’s closed up shop after a very short stint. : ( Hope to see him up and running another pizza parlor soon!
