However, East Race & Howard Park remain high drug, crime and homosexual areas. South bend is looking better, but remains a slum overall. Add another South Short stop to downtown! Additional restaurants would be a huge plus. I imagine those will naturally come along with the condo developments. And I've hear the Chocolate Cafe's expansion will include some sort of a mini mart. This is great for all of us that walked to the old Oscos in the middle of the day for basic pharmacy\store needs. I’ve worked downtown for a few years and am excited to see some positive changes.
