Also, if the Stonebridge developer is reading this, would you ever consider gating the neighborhood like Knollwood Villas from 9pm to maybe 7am? This might add some perceived value to buyers at a reasonable cost to the developer.

The photos of the Stonebridge Villa detached home look great. The website shows what looks like a small fire pit and water wall in the yard of the detached villa, which I really like. My concern with the development would be ability to resell over the next 5 years if a person needed to move for some reason because the development still has a phase 2 to complete. I hope Mishawaka does not soak the owners on property taxes like they did to The Forest. There are a couple $200,000-300,000 units in The Forest with $7,000-10,000 taxes.

Irish Eyes: I think Riverwalk and Ironworks could gain some traction if the downtown would ever get a grocery store, gym and dry cleaner. The purpose of high density living in a low cost area is convenience in my opinion.

I wish all developers success in 2010. Let's hope for improvement in the unemployment number as this will bring confidence and the willingness to take a risk and buy a new home.

I heard a sad but true comment recently. "Why take a $8,000 first time home buyer credit now when you can buy a home for $17,000 less in a few months?"

The Riverwalk Townhomes are very nice.....but let me get this straight, none have sold??? If that is the case, then it won't be long before the bank owns them. Very unfortunate, very unfortunate.
